Looking for any shops in the bay area that would have in stock the perrin air filter cleaning kit? or another foam filter cleaning kit. Or does anyone know if the K&N cleaning kit would work?

K&N is for a different type of material. Foam filters are used on almost all dirt bikes(I worked in motorcycle shop for years). Find a dealer who has some dirt bikes (like Yamaha) and go see 'em. Take your filter in to compare it to the material in stock and after market filters. UNI brand has kits that include cleaner and oiler.
