Perrin filter vs HKS super filter

I currently have a Perrin panel air filter that was put in after my 30k. The shop I went to didn't have any OEM stuff left and gave me a deal on the Perrin one.

My friend came back from Japan and bought an HKS super filter for his RS. It didn't fit (too small) but said it should fit my wrx with no problems.

Does anyone know if one is better than the other? I guessing there really isn't a difference and may just sell it off or give it back.

Keep it! just for the simple fact that its jDm y0!

I dunno, I just put a Fram Airhog in my car, and it seems to me, that any "performance hi-flow" air filter (Fram airhog, K&N, etc.) is going to be just as good as the next guys filter.
