Today i installed my HKS downpipe and Bosal catback exhaust, It sounds Mean, A nice deep rumble. Anyways to my problem. My downpipe came with the helix CEL fix, the resistor and diode thing. I followed the instructions and put it on. I pluged battery back in and started car and took it for a drive with no problems. When i got back home i shut the car off and let it sit for a few hours. I got back in it and started it up and bam a CEL. Will my ECU relearn and get rid of the CEL. BY the way i'm running no cats. I thought the Diode thing fixes this problem.
Need everyone thought about this or if any of you had similar problems and how did you fix it.
thanks

yea. u need to get a reflashed ecu such as from vishnu or cobb turning or some thing. basically ur cel wont go away until u get another ecu programmed to have u boost more with more hp, thats wat i think will solve it, i doubt there is a way to get rid of the cel just by using 03 piping.

Well why doesn't someone with a stock v8 do that and tell us what the voltage should be. Do a little V=IR and put the right resistor in.
It should be that simple, right?

Try the mechanical CEL fix for the rear O2 sensor:
