Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

What year is your car? If it is an '04 the standard CEL fixes for the '03's and earlier don't work.

yea. u need to get a reflashed ecu such as from vishnu or cobb turning or some thing. basically ur cel wont go away until u get another ecu programmed to have u boost more with more hp, thats wat i think will solve it, i doubt there is a way to get rid of the cel just by using 03 piping.

You can check Scoobysport, I believe they have a fix for the 04s.

I've always guessed that they way you figure out approriate voltage to a sensor is to put a meter inline with the sensor and record voltage levels under various conditions. Isn't this how "they" figured out to shove a 2.2k resistor in the EGT sensor socket for catless uppipes in v7 WRXs?

Well why doesn't someone with a stock v8 do that and tell us what the voltage should be. Do a little V=IR and put the right resistor in.

It should be that simple, right?
