I have an 02 wrx wagon, and mods are Downpipe->TBE, Vishnu up pipe, Vishnu underdrive pulley, STi Top mount, KnN panel filter, Cobb Acess port. I was stage 2 with no problems, the past two days I just installed a Vf39 and Sti Pinks along with a new pcv valve and NGK Iridiums stock heat range gapped to .029-.030. After starting the car after the Spark plugs. injectors, and turbo, the car has a hard time starting. it takes a while to crank over and when it does, it idles fine, then RPMS fluctuate up and down, and then wants to die. Sometimes it will die and wont start back up. Is this a Spark issue or a Fuel issue? I reused O-rings and seals. Thanks

Sounds like a misfire issue. Double.check the spark plugs. And coil packs.

 

if it starts, it runs ok for the first minute or so, than fluctuates and tries to carry itself and dies. Then it cant be started up again. Everything was put in correctly and i even torqued the plugs to 15lb tq. There also is no CEL for this issue.

The Ecu has been Reflashed with the Cobb for stage 3. Vf39 and Sti Pinks., Do you think it needs it again?

 

Sounds like It's your fuel. You may have to re-scale the injectors or find a cobb map that will work with the sti injectors.
