It could be a bad ignition switch.

Air, fuel, spark

It sounds as if you are getting it to turn over, so the spark is there. Your intake hasn't changed so air is reaching the combustion chamber. The fact that you don't hear the fuel pump priming leads me to believe either the fuel pump relay has gone bad, or the fuel pump itself is bad. You can check the relay by swapping it with a known good one. The relay you are looking for will be in the under hood fuse box.

Are you sure it isn't out of gas? Sometimes the sending unit goes bad and your fuel level could be lower than you think. Pouring in a gallon or 2 is a good idea unless you know for sure that it has gas.

Seems like the pump would be louder when dry, but he doesn't hear it at all. Disconnect the sending line and see if you're getting fuel.

I second checking the fuel pump relay. Its in the kick panel passenger side under the glove box. there are 2-3 relays there it will be the Green plug
