I agree with relay. Had a '91 blazer do that to me. Also had a '02 Saturn do it but for some reaso. The solution was cleaning all my positive battery cables of any acid or grime and making sure they were tight. Just another thought

Occam's razor leads me to say check fuel level first. It is the most simplistic explanation.
Once you know you have fuel. Remove the top fuel line, see if she squirts.
After that, do you have an aftermarket security system? If so, remove every last peice of it, and burn it. Those things will eventually be nothing but a post rape pain in the a$$.
Then move on to potential mechanical failures. Fuel relay, fuel pump.
Then fumble with the more bizzare. Is the ECU stopping your spark or fuel? Possible reasons: Cam pos sensor, MAF sensor, crank pos sensor, tgv problems.
Do you have any trouble codes?

thanks for all the replies! i haven't had the time to try any of these suggestions other than that the tank is full of gas. hopefully i can get to working on it this weekend.

There is also an alternator fuse that I would check too.
Should be located by the battery as I had this blow or go bad on my firebird once.
