Boost leak
I'm running on a vf34 setup with accomdating mods like borla exhaust manifold, helix up and down pipe, borla cat back, pink injectors, and walbro fuel pump. I've been tuned by mike to boost at 17.5 psi. It has now been almost two months since the tune, and i don't know if it's been like this or if it just happened recently but my boost gauge is registering my max boost at .11 MPa, ( which is almost 16 psi) so i'm thinking i have a boost leak somewhere. The problem is i don't exactly know of a way to find where the leak is. If anyone have any good ideas of how to find where the boost leak is please let me know Thanks a lot guys.

no ><, i'm thinking that it's my exhaust manifold. I've just gotten a used Borla ceramic coated exhaust manifold put in, and that's when i checked my gauge and noticed a loss in boost, so iono. i'm gonna go under the car and check to see if there's a leak there .

Do you feel like you have lost power? Maybe your boost gauge is not reading correctly. It sounds like you have the stock boost gauge(mpa)...that could be the problem.
yea when u change manifolds or pretty much any joint you probably will get a leak.
one trick to solving that problem is when you install or get new gaskets torque it to spec after your done. turn on the car and wait for it to warm up completely. drive it down the street and back. come back to the garage and retorque all the nuts and bolts. this will seat the gasket and create a seal beacuse the metal is already expanded as much as possible
hope this helps

thanks a lot guys, i'm gonna get new defi gauges soon so maybe that will change things .. we'll c ... my ra gearset is going to be installed too
I also have a similar problem, but rather than start a new thread I figured I would post here.
I have a 02 wagon with a Vishnu Stage 2 kit (VF34, pinks, TBE, Pulley and ECU). My autometer boost gauge only reads 12psi. The gauge was on the car when I got the car so I have no idea where to check to make sure the lines/hoses are properly connected. I also tried the Valet reset and that did not help. Any ideas? Would an exhaust leak in the UP cause a loss of 4-6psi? The gauge also reads a steady 12psi.
Anyone wanna help me fix it/find the problem for a 6 pack?

a leak in the uppipe would definitely cause the 4-6psi loss in boost.
i had a boost leak last week i wasnt losingalot of peak boost but my throttle response and spoll up waslacking a little bit. i had a slit in my hose connecting my topmount. once it was replaced throttle response was so much beter take a mirror see if you can see any cuts in your silicone intercooler duct hose.
