Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Better turbo t-67 or GT3037s?

It depends on what trim you are going to use on the 3037. The T67 is probably the bigger power turbo at the expense of lag, the 3037 with a .64 A/R will probably give you full boost like 1000 RPM's sooner than the T67. Either turbo you go with is going to produce massive power you just have to decide if you are going to need all that power.

Those "turbo calculators" are the most silly thing since cheeze-wiz.

3037S is a great turbo.

I personally have the T67 with 10cm^2 exhaust housing. On the 2.0L non-AVCS that turbo is an overkill.

I was able to make 300 shiv's HP on ~94 octane.

However, the lag was bad. I opted to get a 2.4L higher compression motor with AVCS STi heads to make the T67 more happy.

However, if I could do it all over again, I would get the 3037S or 3037R.

HKS turbo's are superb and they spool up hella fast and make great peak power.

Hope this helps.
