Best mods for WRX?
For starters with Power= uppipe, downpipe, intercooler hoses, Cat Back.; your goanna have to pull the intercooler and downpipe to install the uppipe as it is so you minus well do them and save yourself the labor later. Plus you can get a desent DP for around 200. The Samco hoses go for around 128.
For starters with Suspension= Rimz, good tires, rear anti-sway, strut tower braces; There are tons of cheap Rim/Tire combo packages out there..i.e. look at Roto's. In my oppinion there is way to much body roll under hard corning.. go to an adjustable rear sway with links... this will flatten it out a bit. (Watch out for oversteer) . Strut tower braces are a cheap way to get back a little chassis regidity... and its an easy intall. You can address the coil over / spring expense later... i have Eibacks now only becasue a friend gave me a pro set new but eventually ill go coils, probably Leda's,....all in all its a world of difference but only needed really if you plan on tracking it or live in an area that you can certainly take advantage of it.
I'm waiting to do my TMIC b4 I do engine managment... either XEDE with software or Accessport. I want to be able to tune it after most of the bolt ons are done.... minus the turbo....
just my 2$....
FYI... doing the TMIC because a buddy of mine did the FMIC and parked it in the city overnight only to come back to a destroyed front end..... insurance did NOT cover it. Since this is also my daily driver i dont want to risk front end damage with a FMIC that insurance wont pay for... not to mention the lost labor considering most OEM body shops wont touch heavily moddified cars.

This is true... unless you have to alter the turbo heat shield for a relocated EGT bung on the new uppipe as is the case with Perrin.

a friend once told me this when i asked him the same question:
"stop, turn, then go"
brakes, suspension, then power.
If i had a chance to redo my car, i'd be doing it that way.
