i just ordered my tein type ss suspension and now i want to do basic boltons but also get more power out of it. i plan on upgrading the turbo later down the road.

i will definitly do bov and also had my mind set on running open downpipe. i also heard ground wires are nice as well.

any other mods u guys recommend?
why are they better than other mods?

I would recommend against a vent-to-atmosphere BOV but that's just my 2psi...

As for other mods; modded air box, K&N panel filter, upgraded intercooler hoses...not too much loot.

 

BOV all hype.. dont' get one.. makes your car boggle, and act funny... i know a bunch of you guys are going to say no no no... but this is from experience.. my car was running like junk.. i took it off... runs perfect now.. i get HELLA better gas mileage too. i was doing like 230 on a full tank, now i'm doing like almost 300... which obviously is way better..

filter, just put in a drop in... unless you want that sucking sound that most filters make. if you ever heard a full filter set up on a acura or honda... it makes a deep sound. for our cars it just makes a constant sucking sound, sounds kind of funny if you ask me. and plus there hasn't been much improvement if you get the whole kit, so i don't think it's worth it..

get a uppipe downpipe, and exhaust. if you want to go cheap way get a boost controller, but i would save up the money and get a ECU... way better... i'm a poor college student, so i just got the boost controller, no problems as of yet.

and get a cool sti sticker, it gets you 80HP!!!

i'm working on a sleeper... oh and get wheels.. oh my what a difference, i just got my P1's put in, and i'll get pics as soon as i can. my 2cents..

Yeah well the MAP sensor on a Honda is a bit easier to fool than MAF on Scoobaru. All you need is an inexpensive check valve or a Missing Link MAP bypass. Of course, BOVs sound great but is it worth the performance loss?

 

ya i got the prodrive p1's... i get 18's for hella cheap.. with tires.. so i couldn't pass it up. i planned on getting wheels anyhow, so i figure i might as well get it
