anyone running Accessport with FMIC ?

is there anyone running their Cobb accessport on stage V34 ( stage 2.5 ) with a front mount intercooler ? is there any benefits ? cobb said that there will be more lag . but i would like to know from someone who has first hand experience . my following mods are V34 , sti injectors , walbro fuel pump , helix up pipe , helix downpipe and hks carbon ti catback . and cobb also said that i wouldnt have to worry about boost poblems so i dont have to invest in any gauges because the accessport alreadys sets it to a certain boost level . is that true ?

I think you should try it and report back to me.

I also think you might want to get some gauges.

I don't know man. I think a boost gauge is ALWAYS a good idea. Cobb is a great company, but I always like to be as safe as possible. I personally don't understand why boost gauges weren't standard from the factory. Oh, that's right, they wanted more $. I would reccomend getting a boost gauge no matter what, you will sleep better at night.

Cobb recommends against aftermarket TMIC's with the vf34 map for OPTIMAL performance, I've asked. If you REALLY need to sport your dope FMIC, go for it. I think you need gauges.

Yes, the AP does have a live reading of your boost levels, but it's not the most convenient thing to be holding in front of you while driving.
