helix downpipe

ok, so i plan to get a helix downpipe, how much louder do you think it would get mated to a greddy evo catback compared to a stock downpipe? i dont want it to be considerably louder, i like the way the greddy evo sounds as it is now...

I just got a helix up and dp installed. I have the Cobb cat-back. I like the sound with the dp, it's louder, but not annoying loud. Like driving at a steady speed, like on the interstate or w/e it is not noticably louder, only during acceleration.

It makes a pretty big difference. Just be careful to not get pulled over.

Personally, I'd get a helix up and a TB. I don't think there is a need for a helix DP. But yeah, if you do get it, you will notice a difference because you're removing the 2nd cat like wrx ish said.

I have the helix up and txs down with txs race pipe. No cats. If my wife can handle the noise it must not be that loud. The sound of that boxer engine is great with no cats. The helix combo is only $450. The uppipe makes a pretty big differance in performance.

I've got the Helix up and down with the original Borla cat-back (not the hush). The noise level is pretty nice at idle and up to about 4K rpm. Above that things getting pretty loud. If you step on it, the thing just comes alive. Man, I love my car. I need to drive it right now!

Does the Hush sound really good without the cats? Loud and throaty enough?
