any gains on STi TMIC on a WRX

Just wondering if anybody has done it which i'm sure most has, and plus did you see any gains to actually make it worth it?

Car Info: Sleeper Much?
Back when I had the stock WRX motor I ran a VF34, and would experience a good deal of heatsoak with the stock TMIC. When i went to the STi TMIC heatsoak was lessened due to the increased volume, upgraded splitter, and STI scoop. All these things work hand in hand. An intercooler doesnt make more power, it simply allows the air to be cooler so the engine can run more boost without experiencing knock. Remember that the car really should be tuned for the larger intercooler.

I installed it 3 weeks ago. The USDM one. Doesn't really fit well, but I managed.
Did nothig for me. I didn't feel any difference
But again, it's just an intercooler and perrin silicone hose, no sti scoop, no splitter so far.
