02 WRX Turbo boost problem. help.

hmmm... vaccum leak would have other problems besides just low boost psi.. vaccum leaks also cause odd idles..

thank you very much for everyone trying to help me here. my boost level back to normal since i replaced the ecu, intercooler, and the Y pipe, and boost solenoid, i know too late to reply thank you for everyone was trying to help me, but still, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I LOVE THAT CAR.
I had a similar problem with having to much engine oil, my dipstick said a quarter over low so added about 2 litre's which over filled it according to a subaru dealer, it just didn't doesn't want to spool up at all, removed some oil, work's fine I don't think they like having a full oil reading, yet too little scooby go bang
I know what it is go to Subaru dealership at the parts desk and ask for a restrictor pill or I think they call it a orphus pill but anyways you put it in the little vacuum line that come out and bends in front of the turbo and it will boost all the way I had that same problem
