-blitz sbc i-d boost controller
-custom piping down pipe, full cat back.
-mrt frount mount intercooler
i will usually be running the car on low boost if i am not racing, just wanted to know if my car would blow or can my motor handle the new turbo and everything

Sounds good but your also going to need some supporting mods. Custom uppipe, fuel pump, injectors, and some form of management.
You might want to check out www.quantum-racing.com. There coming out with some kits that might suit your needs.

You'll have the baddest wrx on the planet for one or two days.
Your set up is great for drag racing. Is that what you want to do in your spare time?
300 hp to the wheels will keep up with z06's and M5's ....how fast do you want to go?

i wanna go fast enough soo that i wont blow my motor or for anything to mess up in my car.

Well I'm sure there are 100 opinions on this.
Personally I run max boost of 17psi between 4 and 5500 rpm then down to 15 through 7000.
My car is not a dragster. But it's damn fast. and I have 49,000 miles on the engine. NP
Boost isn't the only variable.
air/fuel and timing can help or hurt yor engine just depends on who tunes it.

The biggest thing to keeping your motor strong is to not consistantly run high bost, but also to have you car fully tunned. After you get all your mods getting your air/fuel, timing, and boost all tunned. I run two setups of exhaust, but my car is set up for the race exhaust right now. I run 20lbs of boost on stock internals. After you get what you want you need to take it to a dyno that also gives you an air/fuel printout. Having it too rich or too lean will kill your motor quicker than just having high boost

Im new...
Im new to the whole tuning thing but i do have a slight understanding. Where did you go to get yor car tuned "SNS" and "wannaberacer"? Did you do it yourself or did you get someone to do it? Is it really hard to tune on you own?
I read running at 16psi through out is a nice aggressive setup but not full out race. What would you need to adjust ur boost from a race set-up, to a average set-up, to a very conservative setup?

I don't drag race. I can't afford it. Pushing your car that hard is ok if you don't need it to go to work the next day. Run your wrx at 20lbs psi at Laguna seca and you wouldn't last two laps.
I really like to road race on a track. Thirty minutes of all out ***** to the wall, hard braking, dancing on the asphalt is way more fun than two or three runs of 10 to 12 seconds anyday.
I'm running stock internals, for now, there's only so much money to go around. With my next turbo (APS s/r40) and an APS front mount, I'll be able to pass zo6's. That is sick. In 2004, we're going to stroke it with Jun and then the Vipers beware.......

When I had my care tunned I didn't know anything about tunning so I had easy street tune it. I've changed all the other stuff myself, but the tunning was them. That was about a year and a half ago. I do all my own stuff now. Like wannaberacing said, running 20lbs of boost for minutes at a time takes a huge toll on the engine and it would more than not likely last for very long. I'm also into the road racing side of it, but I did the street racing sceene for a while so that's why I ran such high boost levels. I'll be running about 18lbs for the most part now. If you haven't tunned anything before and you want to do it yourself you can do that, but make sure you have either guages or some way to check everything from engine temp, oil temp, preasure, timing, etc. Everything. And read and learn everything you can get your hands on about it. It's really a sience tunning is. Once you get it, it's easy to understand what takes what and easy to make a base line. If you don't want to go through all that work your first time take it somewhere that will let you watch them tune it. Watching someone is the best/quickest way to learn correctly. Hope it wasn't too discouraging. It really is worth it to learn though!!!
