Tune up..maybe upgrade
My WRX is requiring a tune up. With my last car whenever it got a tune up, I know they replaced some belts and stuff. Now the question, is there anything that would get replaced that I could upgrade with other equipment (pullies, belts, etc.)? The reason for this would be to save time and money by replacing them now, versus replacing them twice.
I hope i posted in the right place too.....i'm a noob.

Yeah, I think you're in the wrong forum, heh. "Management" here means how the car's computer manages the engine, not how you manage your engine
But to answer your question anyway, if what you are asking is how to add more power to you car, go look in the factory turbo forum.
If you are actually asking how to do a "tune up", as in regular maintenance, look in your car's owner's manual for what to do at which mileage.

Actually I am wondering if there is anything I can change out during the tuning process. i.e. if certain belts will be replaced, are there pulleys i can change at the same time thus killing 2 birds with one stone. Not how to tune up the engine. If that is in the wrong area, sorry I am a noob at this stuff and the forum, but am trying to learn. Sorry for any confusion.

What to replace
If you need to replace the belts you might want to look at replacing the pullys with light weight versions (a bunch of people make these). I am just learning how to do some of this but by looking online for directions and looking at the car I think this is something easy to do (ie I could do it).
If you are replacing the plugs I have heard you can go with colder plugs or the denso iridium plugs which can add some horsepower. Replacing the plugs looks hard to do on your own but if you are already having someone do them they should be able to replace with spark plugs of your choice? Guess it depends on the mechanic.
Hope this helps.
