For something like this I'd steer clear of i-club, you're about to get bombarded with people on both sides.

My advice....contact Mike@GST and Ed@EQTuning and talk to them about it.

My .02. I went ahead and did a dyno tune and i have had zero issues with the car. I am planning on getting my car re-tuned here in the near future and i plan on getting my car road tuned. My reasoning is because i have done my re"search" and I feel like that is the way to go for me. Best thing to do is to call those two people above and talk to them.

I told you who to contact on this issue. You're not going to get unbiased opinions on here, for this topic at least. Call both of those tuners and ask the pros and cons, then weigh those pros and cons out in your head.

This subject has been beaten to death. Whenever people talk about it, it ends up turning into a safety/legal arguement against road tuning.

Ive been tuned by 3 different tuners on the dyno and on the road and hands down prefer the road tune.

Don't forget the personal attacks.

Why did I get road tuned?
  • When I drive to work, I drive on a road, not a dyno
  • When I rally-x, there's air moving over my car, not an 18" fan
  • a dyno is an attempt at recreating a road and real driving conditions. A road is a real road with real driving conditions

a proper way would be both dyno and road tune.
ditosmotor, great tuner, not specific to subies though he has built 600+hp subies. i will be taking my car there when ready, his a bit pricy but i'll get some pricebreak from my crew mate who currently goes to ditosmotor only with his eg gsr turbo making 550, his been to 6 other tuners and he says ditos was the only one that really took care of it.

car would be in their hands for almost 8 hours of tuning for both dyno and road tune, i think 120 an hour though :x
