Popcorn like noise :x
I just started hearing it last night after a drive and right before the drive i fittled around with the nuts on the downpipe/turbo.
there was a rattling noise, it was one of the nut on the dp/turbo was loose, i was able to finger tightened it and rachet it best i can though wasnt much.
the rattle was gone.
later after a drive and such as i was coming back from, i started hearing something like popcorns poping from front right part of the car.
next day i fittled with the heatshield which was a bit loose, i ziptied all loose wires and modules from headlight, etc.
this noise is nothing like the rattle i had before from the loose nut, anyone have any ideas?
sounds like a very loud tick-tick-tick, ticks like coming from the car after a long drive.
i only hear it 65+mph and its not always there, seems to come into play once i step on a little bit.
UPDATE:
FIXED! sorry for wasting everyone's time, it ended up being something uncommon.
the problem was that, because i've had my headlight taken out so many times the weathering/rubber strip came loose and was flapping around and slapping the fender creating that noise. i glued it back into place and it was fixed

funny you mentioned that because i have the same issue, i was worried it was something internal but that wasn't an issue. but i hear it only wen i start to slow down or down shift. i've checked my engine bay countless time couldn't find anything that would make that fimiliar sound while im driving. but other than that my car still runs perfect idles perfect also nothing out of the ordinary only wen i start to slow down on certain occasions not all the time it's like wen ever it does nothin i can controll when it does make that tick tick ticking sound. im still on a mission tryin to figure it out. let me know if you solved your problem bro.

checked all my exhaust bolts and they're all on there good.
only thing i can think of is something with the suspension or the drivetrain.
i hear small knocks and grinds here and there awhile just driving at low speeds and the loud popping noise when i'm going 65+mph.
this is driving me nuts and making me paranoid to drive the car.
