open source reflash help!!!

open source reflash help!!!

i want to do an open source reflash on my 02 wrx, but the problem is that its still married it has the cobb. how can i hack my way into reflashing. HELP!!

Car Info: 1997 Acura Integra GS Sedan
with the tactrix cable, you can reflash a stock rom to the ecu, then go from there.

we had to do this in order to marry an ap to my girlfriends car. the car had an ecutek flash on it, and it wouldn't let the ap marry to it. Kind of the same situation as you.

you should of sold the ecutek license!!!

but yah just flash over it. Or save the cobb map then flash over it.

tried, but nobody would buy it...at least for what we wanted. (=

*EDIT* No wait, nevermind, that was on mine. With Suzanne's, hers is an 05, so we couldn't swap ecu's with anyone.

thats the way i got it. im the 3rd owner. the las owner before me . only had it for about 7 months wich he sayed all he did was install a txs bov. is there a way to work around the cobb?

ok since you could work around cobb, could you also work your way around ecutek. couse im not sure what porgram is blocking the ecu.

might be a dumb question, but worth asking, you have the green connectors connected right?

Also, how long have you had the car? Do you know what was on there before? Have you tried downloading the maps from the car to see if it's tagged with anything?
