I am designing a system to read pressure and temperature at various points in the WRX intake system to find out what part is the most inefficient. I am going to take measurements with a stock, STi, and APS TMIC. I have a few questions for items I would like to incorporate. What is the maximum flow reading attainable by the stock MAF? Also, what is the corresponding air flow to the voltage range out put? The voltage output range is .3 - 4.5V. What are the corresponding flow rates to those voltages? Is it somewhat linear? Please provide units as I know very little about the MAF. Are there any aftermarket MAF's that would provide higher flow readings. For those curious, I'm using a vf22, and am going to try to tune to 25psi on sunoco purple and/or alcohol injection. Thanks in advance for any help.
