Hi all! I just took delivery of my 2006 2.5i and I dont know if there is a problem or what. I was doing a quick vaccum on the drivers side floor mat and noticed a single pin green plug, that was unplugged. Ofcourse, I figured it was just accidentally un-plugged or something of that sort.

As soon as it was plugged back in, and the car was turned on again to drive, the check engine light was on constantly flashing with no pauses or breaks in it. Just a steady fairly quick paced flash. Is that green plug not supposed to be plugged in or could something really be wrong?? If this a problem or similarity with any 05's-or if anyone knows what to do about my 06 2.5i please let me know!-anybody with any info would be SO SO helpful---Thanks!

 

i dont think that you are suppose to connect the green plug because on my car, which is an 05 sti, is also disconnected. It's also the same on my friends 05 wrx.

 

Unplug it. It comes from the factory like that. Something to do with the ECU or OBD-II port.
