Question AccessPort Tuning with ECUTEK???

Is it possible to tune a Vishnu Stage 1 setup with Cobb's AccessPort controller. I am running into some timing issues with my current setup and I am tired of sending it back to Shiv for adjustments.

What are my options? The ECUTECK reflash is pushing my timing too far and its definitely affecting performance.

Could I buy an AP from Cobb, plug it into my already reflashed ECU, and upload the right Cobb map for my parts and the fuel type available?

Someone please help!

No, they are two completely different products. If you wish to use the AP, you will have to use AP maps. I would expect that you can run the AP as normal even after getting the EcuTek license, but I'm not positive. I also doubt you would retain your EcuTek license after marrying the AP to your ECU. My advice would be to sell your ECU with EcuTek license and get an unflashed stock ECU back to use the AP on.

ya - you are right - just annoying to keep sending it to California to be reprogrammed. Lame, you know?

My other option is to purchase the delta dash unit and tweak the programming myself...

anyone played with this yet?
