Ecutek Tuning?
I have been reading all kinds of threads were you guys say that intakes and BOV's will mess with you air-fuel ratio. Call me a ricer, but i really like the sound and look at these two items but i also dont wanna mess up my car. My question is that when im ready do get my ECU re-flashed, when i list the mods i have, can i just show that I have Blitz SUS intake and HKS BOV and Vishsu can just make a new map for these mods without hurting the car and still give thae great power gains that Ive heard so much from Ecutek? Thanks for the Help Guys

I've read a post by Shiv that said he refuses to "map" for an intake or BOV unless you bring the car in to his shop and he can put it on the dyno to customer tune it. Even at that point - he says you're paying him the extra dyno time just to make the car run as well as it did WITHOUT the bov and intake on it.
A total waste is his humble opinion - but from the sound of it he has done it before.

P.S. The above was pertaining more to the intake than the BOV I believe.

NO, I wanted to do a up-pipe,turbo back, pullies, ic hoses and a couple other things, I just thought that i could add those things since i was going to have the ecu tuned anyway but i guess ecutek doesnt work well. Would I just be better off with a UTEC but i dont know how to tune and there isnt a dyno were i live. So I dunno what system i should do. I dont have to have a intake and bov but it would be nice. If you guys could give some suggestions about this, It would be cool. Thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ECUtek remap can do wonders. It is not a limitation of the ECUtek in regards to your intake.
Plain and simply intakes do not work well for the WRX. On top of that, they are hard to tune for using a generic map. Hence the reason that is2scooby mentioned that Shiv @ Vishnu will only tune for an intake on his dyno. Not even a UTEC can do anything for you until it gets tuned correctly.
