accessport on swapped car help

i recently had my 99 2.5rs swapped with 03 wrx engine and also had dp, up, cat back , intake installed. i went to EQ tuning and Ed tried to do a base map flash, he found green test connector but not the clear initialization plug on my car. he wasnt sure if it was going to work but we tried it anyways and surprisingly it worked with out the initialization connector. so he did a road tune and made a map for me and tried to flash his new base map but it didnt work so he just flashed the real time map. i tried to do a base map flash couple time and didnt work at all. i tried to revert it to stock but that didnt work either. it keeps saying error try again. could anyone help me out on making my accessport work again?

were the green plugs together at the time you tried to load the base map? That is what happened to me when I did my stage 2. I didnt have them plugged in the first time I tried to upload it.

yeah they were plugged, making those fan noises and check engine light flashing. did everything as accessport manual for 03 wrx except for initialization connector. it worked only the first time...

the only other thing I can think of is if the AP is married to something else. I hope you can get it to work.

oh the ap is married to my ecu already. iono how or why but very first flash to marry ecu worked. well the guy who swapped the engine told me that he did a 2nd stage reflash and said ap wont work unless he return the ecu to stock... but it worked and now my ap is married to my ecu, if he return the ecu to stock, would my ap recognize my ecu? cuz my ecu cant even devorse with ap.
