In Japan, sales for the wagon STi's were actually quite brisk. Of course, they still didn't sell as many wagons as sedans and (when they had'em) coupes.

I wish I had the $$$$$ to buy a wagon, sell the brand new 2.0L and 5-speed and use the money towards getting an STi 2.5L turnkey and 6-speed.

That would rock as a 2nd car.

That would be a firm project for me if I had the dough. How many conversions would you guess are being put together in the US right now?

So for now, I'm gonna keep on working on my V7/USDM STI frankenschtein wagon. Got the v7 tranny, now I'm gonna start saving for the USDM 2.5L STI block.

I've seen a 340 hp Tommy Kaira edition Legacy B4 for sale second-hand in Hong Kong before I wanted to test drive it but the dealer didn't let me after I nearly tore an R34 GT25S to shreds
