I just wanted a "Public Announcement", granted in their own time and words. It's a big thing that just happened and I think in their best interest to let people know why. That is there decision and theirs alone.
My company announces internally and to clients when someone leaves the company. The client part is important as we would like to ensure the client that is used to dealing with said person, developed a business relationship, a smooth transition and to introduce them to their replacement. I mean who is going to handle my multi thousand dollar investment in the improvement of my toy now?
Again that is their choice and I am not calling Mike out and he knows it and I am more than willing to call his cell and discuss it.
"I know it's probably none of our business but I know I am not the only one curious as to what happened. Why would such a seemingly invaluable and key position be eliminated? Maybe someone from GST will make an announcement as I do not understand as I am sure many others do not either."
I demanded nothing and made no accusations. In the past I have known Mike to come out and tell things about the company here on iclub where other vendors wouldn't. That is actually one of the many things I respect about him.
this got out of hand quickly. its all for the best and that is all I will say. GST will continue to do fine without me and at this point I would always recommend ppl to go there.
funny thing is I am sitting at another shop right now getting new tires put on and a guy with an evo rolled up. I shot the crap with him for awhile and talked about turbo kits. needless to say, I told him to go to GST to get everything done.

I am done, this wasn't about calling out GST but thanking Derek and giving others the same chance. Sorry it turned into anything different.

wow, no idea how the thread turned into this...
I can vouch that zoeb has gone outa his way for me and some friends. That being said, I don't really think stiylyn was trying to call out GST by any means.. I think he was truely trying to let blingbling know he was appreciated it all

From my stand point you should have sent Derek a PM to show how much you appreciated the service and support he gave to you while working at GST. Even if you did not mean to call out GST (which I think you did want to since you even asked for them to post up why he was fired in a later post of yours) , it totally looks like it from an outside perspective. Stuff like this should be kept in PM's.

If they wanted to do it, they would have...maybe they didn't want a public annoucement about it?

Zoeb, this is NOT calling anyone out. That is a polite request for an explanation.

Zoeb, I know Subydude and GST Motor sports to be two different companies. I also know something coming but I have too much respect for the people involved to leak anything.
