New Clutch engage point question

I just picked up my car yesterday from the dealership. They were replacing my clutch as per the TSB for the Clutch Juddering.

I have just one question. The engage point for the clutch is now like 1" from the floor. I don't like this much as it doesn't give you much chance to slip it when starting from a stop. It used to be about half way between top and bottom. Any chance this is only because its a new clutch?

Check if theres any adjustment for the clutch pedal itself,if not go back to the dealer and say WTF's the deal.

I had the TSB done and the engagement point stayed the same.
