Yet another tire question

The 215/55 is a little taller and the 215/50 a little shorter than we prefer to recommend. That's why the 225/50 is a better choice - perfect in diameter and it fits the stock rim without incidence. Your Contis are available in this size as well.

I didn't realize you could get a 225/50 tire on the stock 16" rim. Are there other people out there doing this? I'd be interested in upgrading, but I'd like to hear what people who have this setup have to say, especially WRX wagon owners.

It's no problem on wagon or sedan. There's even a wagon owner here who did it - so I can guarantee it fits fine. They look nice on the wheels too - not "baloonish" like it sounds. The 225 is under an inch wider so it makes for a nice upgrade.
