Yet another wagon/ 225 tire question-
Tire rack has the kuhmo 711 for 70 apiece in the 225/45/17 size.....
On Rota SDRs (stock '02 WRX wagon), where am I likely to rub at???? Thanks!

What's the offset of your wheels? I use 7.5 offset 50 with same tire size w/no rubbing on my wagon. If I were using offset 48 though, it would possibly touch the rubber liner on the fender lip - and I'd just pull the liner off to remedy it.

well, this should be relevant but it may not be.
i am using 225.40.18s kumho 712s (which should have the same circumference as the 225.45.17s 712s) on 18x7.5 ET48 wheels which. the 18 inch 225s may be a bit wider than the 17 inch 225s, and dexter could perhaps confirm this. either way, i'm running tein type wagon COs, and i got rubbing on the lip of the rear fenders as well as the lip of the front fenders and the inside shoulder of the front tires rubs in the wheelwell. i need new suspension and 17s.
i was able to hack... i mean roll the rear fenders, but did not want to make the same mistake on the fronts. i'm still trying to find a shop that rolls fenders for less than a million dollars. tire rack has a fender rolling tool that they send out but the list is officially full until the sun burns out. i have an idea. tire rack should buy many more fender rolling tools.
unfortunately, nobody seems to be able to get ahold of haweka... assmunches.
