When I'm cruising in 5th, I can hear a slight ticking noise. Eventually figured out it's from the shifter, if I put any extra weight on the ****, it goes away, or if I try to push it further into 5th it'll go away for a little while but slowly come back.

I'm about to do my 90k stuff, so the tranny is going to be flushed, but does anyone have any clue what this could be?

 

there a clip that holds in the shifter ball into its boots its probley that nothin to wery about
