?'s about one piece drivelines

Anyone had any experience with one piece drivelines for the WRX. I was looking at a couple of sites and it looks like there may be some modification needed to the chassis to make it work. Just curious as to exactly how much modification is necessary.

CF would be awesome because of how light/strong it is but also costs a lot. Here's the alternative I was considering (aluminum) but I'm a little leery of their disclaimer stating that the driveline reaches "critical" status at 150mph which I'm guessing is because of vibration. Not that I'm going to be going that fast but is this driveline going to help reduce vibration from the driveline or potentially create more?

Thumbs up

There are a ton of threads on this topic. IMO the ACPT carbon drive shafts are a great addition and the quality is top notch.

Here are a few links to get you started with lots of great info:

get a carbon fiber one, they deaden noise and help in off the line acceleration.

Thanks for the responses, guys. After reading SEVERAL threads on the subject I think I'm either going to just wait til I can afford a cf one-piece or stick w/ stock. Looks like the aluminum is just too much of a headache because of all the fitment issues and high likelihood of vibration and eventual flex/twisting.

Time to start saving up =)
