Piece by Piece is a documentary type movie showing the history of Bay Area grafitti art and Hip-Hop music. It will be showing at the Roxie in San Francisco Thursday January 13th at 7pm. A good friend of mine was a major contributor to this movie. I contributed a bunch of pics to this movie as well including pics from Psycho City, Clockwork, Hell, The Black Hole and Franklin Yards from back in the late 80's early 90's. Check out the site:

actually after viewing the site, the roxie is fairly close to where i live but if anyone else wants to meet up i say we meet up around 7-7:30ish at the potrero center garage(16th street and potrero) since its few blocks away from the venue and theres plenty of parking, pm me if yah wanna meet so i dont go there waiting for no one ....

I'm probably gonna go see this. Just watched the trailer and saw soooo many names I recognized. Not that I knew any of the famous people or anything, but I remember seeing their names up all over the place in the late nineties when I was around.

i might go check this out too...looks interesting and i grew up during the Bay Area's graff heyday late 80's-early 90's!

 

I met Screw and a couple TDK guys at an Oaktown train yard. Ah, good times.
