I am using the 75w90NS. For me, I am finding the shifting to be a lot more notchy, and harder to get into first. It does seem a bit more slippery, but this does not prevent the notchiness when shifting. I am likely going to try some other oil, if not go back to the OE stuff soon.

I've had Redline 75w90NS in the gear box and 75w90 in the rear differential for ~14K miles. Once in a great while I will grind first gear, but this usually happens when I quickly force it in the gate. No other negative issues.
I have noticed improved shifting when the car is cold and slightly less noise.

I had all Redline in the drivetrain in my 02 wagon - in my 03 sedan with the OE oil it feels just fine and a little less grinding. I now vote for OEM (after reading up on things), just change it a little sooner.
I also have the OE short shifter, much stiffer than stock at first but now after 1500 miles feels awesome, very smooth and more "communiticative" meaning you can feel the syncros and what not better for a gentler shift. I've made a 6-8 psi difference between tires (I'm trying more to front) and that's helped me control decel noise with very light throttle.

Do yourself a favour, try the Redline Lightweight Shockproof in your gearbox and rear diff. This stuff is magic. Will cure any grinding synchros you may have and is now recommended by many of the gearset manufacturers here in Australia. We also run this stuff in our PPG dogbox for our rally car.

I ran Redline in the gearbox and diffs. Changed back to OEM in the gearbox after similar experience as ilmaestro (above). The lever moved more easily between gears, but getting into/out of each gear was harder/notchier. I also had my initial first gear grinding experience while using Redline - though I DO NOT claim they are related.
I use Redline in the diffs and the engine.
