Power transfer loss

Just wondering after looking at soo many dyno sheets, I notice how much power is losted from the crank to the wheels on these WRX, anywhere from 60 to 100hp loss. Just curious, and if there is anyway to reduce this factor.

Synthetic lubricants are probably the only practical way to reduce drivetrain losses. Unfortunately, it's a fact of physics that power gets lost during a transfer.
