OK, the flip side. Who has NOT had any gearbox problems?

I didn't have any issues with my stock gears through 20-some odd thousand miles of highway, rallycross, and rally driving.

Now I have a hardened RA gearset, and I don't ever expect to have problems again.

How are the ratios,
The ratios are much more evenly spaced than the stock WRX gearbox. First is taller, and then everything else is shorter.

do you have to shift to third to reach 60 mph?
Mmm, not sure off the top of my head. I could probably get 60 still in 2nd, but I usually shift well before redline.

Did you have to change diffs?
Most folks that would do this sort of a swap will put in new diffs. I didn't, so no, you don't *have* to.

How much did it cost you and who did the work for you?
MPJ Performance did the work for me. They do this swap for $2600.
