55000 miles on my 02 wrx, only thing is the clutch shudder. does that mean I should have the clutch replaced? Will the dealer still warranty it even though I have mods? I have vf30 turbo, mrt top mount,mrt turbo back,etc.

Remember the svx? Great car, 6 cyl, 230 hp stock and a bit heavy (3500 lbs). Well I wonder why subaru only offered the 4eat tarnny in this sports car ? Could it be someone thought the man. trans just couldnt take it??????

i read somewhere that the 03's had a slightly strengthened tranny vs. the 02's. anyone know if this true?

i do alot of spirited driving, little autocross and alot of drag racing. as a matter of fact i havent had one problem with my car (knock on wood) other then the camber bolt i broke when installing my previous suspension.:banana:

I didn't have any issues with my stock gears through 20-some odd thousand miles of highway, rallycross, and rally driving.

Now I have a hardened RA gearset, and I don't ever expect to have problems again.

How are the ratios, do you have to shift to third to reach 60 mph?
Did you have to change diffs? How much did it cost you and who did the work for you?
