Question Noises from shifting 1st to 2nd??

Almost everytime i go to put the clutch in to shift from 1st to 2nd i hear this pop sound, it usually does this when im under 3,000 rpm but if i shift over 3 then you wont hear it as much, i was wondering if this is normal? im only at 650 miles on the car (still breaking it in)

Not normal. Does it also happen when you step in the clutch when the car isn't moving and the engine is off? If so, try to isolate the sound, i.e. originating at the pedal assembly beneath the dashboard (at firewall), or from underneath the car. You can also let the dealer figure out what it is since it is still new.

I moved your post to the Transmission forum.

No it only does this going from first to second, it doesnt do it all the time, and it doesnt do it when i step in the clutch when the car isnt moving nor when its off. the best thing is to have the dealer probably look at it
