Exclamation Need Some Help i-Clubbers!~ (Transmission Fluid)

Hello guys, today for the first time, I changed the transmission fluid and the differential fluid besides doin oil changes and changing worn head/fog lights.. Anyways here is the issue. You guys know how that hole to fill the transmission is really hard to reach without removing the intercooler?? ( I managed to MacGuyver a hose attachment to a funnel and worked my way around after 10 minutes of frustration and beer ) I accidently leaked some tranny fluid, and when I went for a test drive to see if theres any leaks , I noticed it starteed smoking around the downpipe area near the tranny filler hole thingy.. Anyways I was wondering if this is a big issue such as damage to parts and wiring etc, or can i just clean this up some how?? im working on this in my garage right now, looked nasioc looked scoobymods and couldnt get a quick answer.. Any imput on this would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!!

Spray it off with the water hose......Just cover all intake areas, or itll eventually burn off.

don't spray water onto the turbo, especially if u dont have the heatshield on it, you'll crack ur turbo if it's hot and water hits it..
