2001 4eat Auto Tranny 4th gear fubared?
My 2001 Auto tranny is trippen in 4th gear only on the 3 to 4th shift and when in 4th gear (hesitates and jerks in 4th gear only). It works perfectly if I keep the selector in 3rd.
I've already changed the spin-on filter, reset the ECU, and done one drain-fill of fluid. The tranny has >100k on it. It has no ECU failure codes.
Any ideas? I'm considering dropping the pan and changing the internal filter, but wondering if the 2001 has some sort of band adjustment?
