It sounds the same when idling in neutral, it also makes the sound when the car is off

hey i just noticed this today on my car too, i'm about to check it out after work. squeek when stepping on it and when releasing it.

I would just like to report that my squeak went away for a week or so, and now it is back. I think I'm going to break down and bring it into the dealership to get that looked at, plus have an assortment of other small things checked out before the warranty expires. Which bay area dealer is least likely to destroy my wagon?

 

Mine was squeaking for a while too. Turns out I had a gerbil under the clutch pedal.
