Front left shock squeek?

Front left shock squeek?
I have a funny squeek coming from the front left wheel well. I hear it (not TOO, too often though) when I go over bumps and hills. Shock? Something I should be worried about? Probably, huh... dammit...

i had the very same problem on my 02 WRX. the passenger front strut would squeek but only at certain times. I live in colorado and the only time it would squeek was when it was really hot and really dry. it would make noises when i would stab the brakes or go over bumps really slow, i took it to the dealer and they said that they could not get it to make the sound. so i popped the hood and pushed on the radiator support beam and made the sound appear with out driving. they did nothing. so i got lowing spring. the stock spring was moving on the perch and causing sqeeking. when you wash your car and get water up in there i bet it does not make the noise?!- Matt
