recently i had my transmission replaced, the only gears that wernt replaced were 3rd and 5th, and now it grinds when i put it into 3rd gear... unless i put it in at a certain amount of rpms... the shop that did the work went out of buisness so i cant bring it back there, and subaru told me i need to replace 3rd gear where as another subaru dealership said it was just the gear synchros... but from my experience with subaru dealerships they will do whatever they can to get more money and when doing transmission work they are paid a higher hourly wage... ne ideas or suggestions... also subaru just put in a new short shifter, and when its in gear i can move it side to side, it feels like its in neutral... and feels loose... sick of the problems... any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated, please help
