Install cost for RA Gear set?

On top of the cost for the 5 speed RA set, how much can be expected for labor hours for the rebuild and install. I know its a broad question but just a general ideal would help.

When I blew the tranny, I took the tranny and my spare tranny to a shop in so-cal to get the gears swapped.

open the tranny - press out the gears- press in the gears- maybe reshimming?- assembling.
this is about 5, 6 hours (not the actual labor, the labor hours to give estimate). so labor for just swapping the gears is around $400 I think. Youll need to buy oil and seals too.
(I got some discount off this quote since I always use them for service)

i donno how much is the labor for dropping the tranny and putting the tranny in.

MPJ Performance sells RA Gearsets installed for $2600 (plus your old transmission). The price includes installation of the gearset as well as the installation into your car. Since you're not in the Bay Area (CA), I believe they ship the RA Gearset transmissions as well. Look them up at www.mpjperformance.com.

BTW, here's a link to a thread about MPJ and RA Gearset swaps: https://www.i-club.com/forums/bay-area-15/shout-out-mpj-55569/

Thanks for to insight. $2600 is not a bad deal, shipping will be a pain in the a$$.
