Reasonable cost for uppipe install?

What would be about the going rate for an uppipe instalation? I would love to do it myself but unfortuniatly I lack the time, tools, and space. I want to have this mod done so if anyone knows or has an idea please let me know.

Up here in seattle, the best price i found was $200, which isn't from a shop. The shops were asking for $280 or so (4hrs x $70 labor).

Do it yourself man. It took me about 7 hours and a little blood, but I'm soooooo glad that I did it. I became a whole lot more familiar with my car and it was a really good experience.

I'd love to do mine by myself, however i don't have the tools handy. When i lived in Charleston, SC, i used to go to the Auto hobby shop on base, where i could rent a bay which had a lift for only $3.50 an hour or so. I did my turboback and lowering springs there myself. Looking back at all the problems i ran into when doing the turboback (hard to reach bolts, ultra-torqued on bolts on the turbo, etc), i become afraid to do the uppipe with out the tools that the hobby shop had available. Unfortunately now, i don't have access to such a place (that i know of anyhow).

When it comes to exhaust systems, there are many different options available on the market, each with its own set of pros and cons. Some popular exhaust systems include cat-back exhaust systems, axle-back exhaust systems, and headers.

To determine which type of exhaust system would be best for your vehicle, it's important to consider your performance goals, budget, and any legal restrictions in your area.

As for the cost professional installation, it can vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle and the type of exhaust system you choose. On average, the cost of professional installation can range from $100 to $500 or more.

It's always a good idea to do your research and shop around for reputable installers in your area. Look for reviews and ratings from previous customers and make sure to ask about their experience and qualifications. A properly installed exhaust system can improve the performance and sound of your vehicle, so it's important to choose an installer who has the knowledge and expertise to get the job done right.
