Well Lets strat..

I have a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX..
With 14,400 miles. My Secound gear got rip off from the transmission :P..

All this started with i was trying out my new Apexi N1 exhaust , i was going 6500 rpm from 1st then pop cluch and released gas then pop 2nd.. Oh my god this sound made a hole in my heart. This griding sound after a pop , for a sec i thought it was my muffler griding on the street but it was super secured. Then I stop the car and looked all around nothing. Started from 1st Car went 2-3mph and started griding again. The only good thing that sounded good was the Apexi. I was thinking **** 4k is gonna rip me a new ***, but subaru is covering it with the aftermarket exhaust. I do have extended warranty so maybe that why they are covering it.

The guy said "Where you powershifting this car at the moment"

Me said "No sir going from 1st to 2nd"

The guy said "Well this car is not a race car please dont race it if the same problem happens again we will not cover it"

Me said "Ok sir"

Me sad "So whats the problem with the car"

Guy said "Well the hole 2nd gear was riped off. We order the parts and will be working on it soon" "Come buy if you want to see the 2nd gear"


I m a pretty lucky guy.

Mid City Subaru of Chicago is the ****.. Yeah

 

Be sure to post pictures of the gear! As for the "Well this car is not a race car please dont race it if the same problem happens again we will not cover it," if it was a defect they'll replace it as many times as you ask them to, period, but I think you got very lucky in this situation. Glad you're getting it fixed, though, hope it works like new.

 

Well if they dont fix it right belive me I will be back.. :P

 

Yeah i will post pictures when I go there.. And guys belive me I dont hammer my car that much but i quess it dont dont take much to **** it up..
