Looks like I'm going to go with a Rallispec STi RA gearset in my 2003 soon. I'd love to have rallispec do the work, but they're in Jersey. I can't take the downtime and money to ship my box out there to get worked on.

So who in California can tackle the job? They need to be experienced with doing Sube trannies, I won't take it to anyone who doesn't work on them regularly. I'm in San Francisco, but I don't mind delivering it to LA, Sacto, whatever to get it done.

i don't really know of any shops that work on Subarus and do just transmission work.

 

Where exactly are you at? If you are closer to the valley, S-Squared Motorsports is a good place for getting work like that done. If you are nearer the south bay, MPJ/GB Motorsports in Hayward can do it also.

 

StageMotorsports Can do it for you.

Here's a tranny we are rebuilding now.. And Robert has done a lot of them in the past..
