Question Clutch Swap

Ok looking into my engine bay i figure there are two ways to swap the clutch on a WRX. I can either pull the motor from the top and put the clutch on that way or i can drop the tranny from the bottom. Which way do you guys think is easier/better. Keep in mind i wont have a lift, just some jacks and jack stands in my garage. I figure that dropping the tranny wont be that involved but i thought i should ask some people with experience.

well ive done 2 clutches with my friend without a lift before but they were front drive cars. I just figured that it would be easier with an awd car but im not sure. I want to just drop the tranny but if its easier to pull the engine with a hoist id rather do it that way.

sorry for the late responce

the way i have seen it done is leave everything in. unmate it and push teh tranny back with the drive shaft out.

three shafts to deal with so i would say harder
