Clutch Shudder?
i get (what seems like) a llittle clutch shudder if i don't balance the gas/clutch right at low rpms when i'm taking off from a stop.
wasn't sure which forum category to post in...
will a loose motor mount give the symptoms like clutch shudder? or is it because i now have a solid sti tranny mount it's more rigid?
if u guys have any thoughts please shine in! tia!

does it happen when you first start driving like in the morning? or cold out? i had to have my 02 clutch replaced casue as it would grab it would jerk the car forward as it engaged. it was not smooth at all, but it only happens when the material was cold, so floof ir engage half way heat up and done. no maore chatter till it gets cold again. just kidding that is how i figured out what was going on, but it was a recall on the part and they fixed it, the material would grab to easy on the flywheel, the fix wasa new fly wheel new friction plate and pressuer plate, with bearings.
just to tell you if you get it done at the dealership it will be like 900$, i lucked out, they had to take out the tranny anyways so they knocked three hundred off, cause to get the flywheel they have to drop the tranny. sorry that was for the second clutch, the throwout bearing went bad, the first was warranty.
