Clutch Replacement Procedure??

Hey i drive a 2000 Impreza RS 2.5 liter and i have had a lighweight flywheel and pro street clutch and short shifter from cobb turnning sitting in my living room for probably a year now i was wondering where i could find a step by step procedure to do it myself ?

I dont know if the trannies are the same between stateside and Japanese GC models, but here is something I posted a while back about how to do a clutch/flywheel remove and install on a '93 WRX (GC8). Maybe it would help some.

Hey thanks for the help a buddy of mine found a step by step procedure and i'm glad he did cuz i would have dropped the whole tranny instead of just pulling it back enough to get to the clutch and stuff. That lightweight fly wheel and short throw shifter made a big diffrence its revs up a lot faster and when i start it that starter turns the engine so quick i thought there was something wrong but i realized that duh the flywheel is lighter thanks for the help i'll find the site out from my buddy and post it on here

If you ask me, the lightweight flywheel/clutch is the best mod for the money.

Awesome resource, I think I am going to sign up for the contract to download the service manuals via pdfs or possibly buy one on cd through ebay.

Can someone give me a 1-10 on how difficult a clutch/flywheel install is?

Just say its a 2 or 3 and give me some confidence for god sakes.
