Chatter?

I have an 03 WRX that has some massive chatter... i am almost positive that it has the stock clutch in it, and every now and then when the clutch is engaging i get massive chatter... like enough to rattle the dash... any ideas?

A warpped flywheel or a glazed clutch. But im almost posotive its your flywheel. Had the same problem happen to me, and my flywheel had a few small cracks in it. Plus it was burnt pretty badly.

ya, but the clutch on his car feels ultralight.. and i know my clutch and flywheel are stock since it was installed by Subaru... i mean, his clutch is ultra light and when u let off the clutch while changing gears it chatters hard, like the clutch is too light...
